Our church community is open to people of every
language, nationality, creed and colour. Situated
just to the west of Paris, our community has existed
for over a century - our church building is somewhat
younger, but marked with a sense of prayer, love and
Holy Trinity Church, Maisons-Laffitte, is set in
spacious gardens not far from the Chateau, a 10 minute
walk from the RER station and with easy access by car.
Our lovely church grounds give us fine opportunities
for social events, and is used by our uniformed
organisations and toddler groups, as well as by the
congregation after our Sunday services.
We enjoy an excellent relationship with the local
French community and our ecumenical friends, both
Catholic and Protestant. We believe that our Heavenly
Father has placed us here on earth to worship Him and
to follow the way of Jesus Christ; receiving with
reverence His gifts of life and grace, in
compassionate, self-giving service to our brothers and
The worship and spirituality of Holy Trinity is
anchored in the Anglican and Episcopalian tradition,
while remaining deeply conscious of our indebtedness
to deeper and older streams of Christian experience.
We are also learning new attitudes and habits of the
heart from contemporary forms of Christian life! As
T.S Eliot wrote in "Choruses from the Rock":
What life have you if you have not life together?
There is no life that is not in community, And no
community not lived in praise of GOD.
