SEL (Service d’Entraide et de Liaison) is part of Compassion International and runs a sponsored children scheme.
At Holy Trinity we have supported this organisation for many years and we currently sponsor two children. We are committed to writing to the children, praying for them and sending a fixed amount of money for each of them to pay for their education.
Holy Trinity currently sponsors 10 year old Maria from Burkina Faso (photo below).
Andro from Indonesia is now 18 and has just left the scheme, we sponsored him for 10 years.
We have now been allocated another child, Jelita, who is also from Indonesia. She is ten years old.
We receive regular letters from the children, as well as photos and other information on their development.
It costs 37 euros/month to sponsor a child.
