As part of our Easter celebrations and to inaugurate our new Prayer Room, we are organising an Easter Prayer Vigil (signup by clicking here).
The Vigil will commence at the church in the Upper Room on Saturday 30th March at 8.30 am, ending at 8.30 am on Easter Sunday in time for the Easter Sunday Service of Renewal of Baptismal Vows at 8.45 am.
A vigil is a powerful way for us to come together as a community to connect with God so that His vision for love and justice can be carried out through us.
We are looking for volunteers to take a 1 hour slot each. No previous experience is necessary, and we will provide various prayer resources to help you through your hour. You can come on your own, with a friend, as a family.
For those of us who are housebound, live too far away or are not comfortable with driving particularly at night, we will also be running a Virtual Vigil whereby you can pass the “baton” of prayer at the end of your hour to the next person with a simple text message.
If you would like to sign up for a slot, please speak to Angela LB, Charlotte, or Vivian, or signup by clicking here.
