Despite the current lockdown situation, Holy Trinity Church has authorisation to be open this Sunday morning (for up to 20 people maximum) from 9.15am to 10.30am for silent prayer, and from 10.30am to 11.45am with quiet organ music, for anyone who wishes to pray (respect the “safe distance” of 1.50m and keep strictly to the recommended hygiene protocols).
For this Sunday at home, here are some resources you can use:
- This week’s sermon and prayers prepared by Reverend John Murray
- This week’s “blue sheet” with the relevant Bible readings
- John Murray also suggests that you may wish to pray Morning Prayer for this Sunday:

(Ideally, go to the bottom of the above webpage and download the App for Daily Prayer. Then you can very easily access Morning or Evening Prayer every day. This gives you the full text with all the psalms and readings. You may find it a bit longer than you really want, but you can easily shorten it by skipping one of the readings or some of the psalms and canticles. This might be a good opportunity to get into the habit of using Morning or Evening Prayer on a regular basis.)
