Am I truly living a life that matters, or just going through the motions?
What does it mean to be strong in today’s world?
How can I guide my loved ones through life’s challenges?
Why do I feel alone, even when surrounded by people?
Am I sacrificing my true self in pursuit of success?
What legacy will I leave for my family and community?
These are the questions we wrestle with at Iron & Fire.
This is a six-session journey for men who want to live with courage, purpose, and faith, grounded in something greater than themselves.
Here, iron sharpens iron as we challenge each other to face life’s uncertainties with strength rooted in the deeper calling of faith. This is a brotherhood built on truth, resilience, and the pursuit of a life that reflects our values and faith.
There are no easy answers—only the commitment to grow into men who lead with integrity and purpose.
First Session - Taster: Monday, 20 January 2025, 8pm in Maisons-Laffitte. Come and see what it’s all about, no strings attached! For details, contact Richard Medcalf or drop us a message here:
Six Important Themes
Each session tackles a theme—from redefining strength to discovering a lasting legacy, rooted in biblical principles and real-life challenges.
Session 1: The Call to Courage
Exploring what it means to live with courage in today’s world and to answer a deeper call. This session opens the journey with reflections on biblical courage and practical steps to face personal fears and challenges. 6th January.
Session 2: Strength in Surrender
A paradox of faith: finding strength in letting go. Together, we’ll examine areas of control and surrender, drawing on Jesus’ example of humility and trust in God’s purpose.
Session 3: Purpose Beyond Success
What does it mean to pursue true purpose? This session explores how faith shapes our understanding of success and challenges us to live for something greater than ourselves.
Session 4: Leading with Integrity
Discovering what it means to lead from a foundation of faith and integrity. We’ll reflect on character, commitment, and practical ways to lead our families and communities with conviction.
Session 5: Building Authentic Connection
In a world full of distractions, how do we find true connection? Drawing on biblical examples of brotherhood, we’ll explore what it means to live in an authentic relationship with others.
Session 6: Leaving a Legacy of Faith
What will we leave behind? This final session focuses on legacy, inviting us to consider how our choices today shape a lasting impact on our families, communities, and faith.
What to expect
After the taster, spaces are limited to 8 men for a deeper journey together. We get that “life happens," but do ask for an inner commitment to attend at least 3-4 sessions. Each session is standalone yet connected in purpose, helping you build strength over time.
Where: In person, Maisons-Laffitte—experience real connection and brotherhood, not another digital screen.
When: Six sessions, roughly every two weeks, 8-10 pm. Probably Monday or Tuesday nights. We'll agree precise dates with the group after the taster session, though we've tentatively scheduled 20/1, 4/2, 3/3, 17/3, 31/3, 7/4.
Is this for me?
Iron & Fire is a space for men who sense that life was meant to be more — more courageous, more purposeful, and more connected.
It’s for those who want to build strength, tackle real questions, and grow in faith alongside other men who share that hunger for something real.
Want to stay in your comfort zone? This isn’t for you.
The group is ideal for any man who resonates with our vision, and who is ready to be challenged and to grow. Openness to the message of Jesus is important, but you can be anywhere on the path of faith.
This is a journey that sharpens, challenges, and renews. Are you ready to step into the fire?
